HRH The Duchess of Cornwall opening the Walcot Street Shop
In addition to men’s & women’s clothing and bric a brac the Walcot St shop also houses the largest second hand charity bookshop in the area. A huge selection of fiction plus specialist sections including local history, travel, cookery, biographies and many others.
NEW SHAFTESBURY ROAD SHOP

Paul Martin, presenter of BBC2’s popular antique show Flog It!, has added his support to Julian House’ latest charity shop venture by making his own donation of unwanted items.
This will be the charity’s second charity shop in the city and stocks a broad range of clothes, bric a brac, music plus a substantial selection of quality books.
Funding Manager, Cecil Weir is excited at the prospects for the new shop - “Moorland Road is a thriving high street in a bustling part of Bath. We are confident that customers will appreciate the quality of the stock that we put on sale and the fact that our book selection is made of titles that they’ll want to read. Our charity shops make a valuable contribution towards the running of our frontline services - so customers get great bargains plus they’ll be helping one of the most marginalised groups in our society.
We are delighted at Paul Martin’s support. The success of the shop will depend very much on public donations like his. We’re particularly looking for good clean clothes, saleable bric a brac and books.”
STOCK DONATIONS ALWAYS WELCOME
