Gifts in kind
Gifts or other support in kind can also be very valuable. Particularly useful items include:
- Second hand books for the New King St Bookshop
- Non perishable food eg coffee, tinned fruit, biscuits, baked beans
- Blankets and sleeping bags (no duvets please)
- Storage space. A spare garage or a corner of a warehouse would be invaluable. Quite often useful items such as furniture have to be turned away because of lack of space.
- Design and print services
- Help in staffing events such as the Circuit of Bath Walk or the Brain of Bath
- Promoting an event within a company or other organisation
Recent useful support has included new beds from leading bed supplier Airsprung and a garden makeover at Simon House by a staff team from Virgin Mobile.
