Julian House is delighted to announce that Battens Solicitors and the Battens Charitable Trust are once again joining forces to sponsor The Brain of Bath, for the fourth consecutive year.
Their continued support extends well beyond the event itself. By helping to cover core event costs, Battens and their Charitable Trust help ensure that more of the funds raised on the night go directly towards Julian House’s services. That means more support for vulnerable individuals - right here in our community.
The Brain of Bath, now a much-anticipated staple in the city’s professional social calendar, brings together local businesses, their clients, and quiz lovers for an evening of brain-teasing competition and good-spirited rivalry.
Katherine Gilmour, a Director of Battens, commented: “Our Bath office has served the city for the best part of a decade and with no sign of slowing down, we offer a personable and inclusive approach tailored to meet the needs of all of our clients. We also love giving back to the community through our Battens Charitable Trust, supporting local charities such as Julian House, as well as foodbanks, schools and hospitals.”
This partnership reflects the longstanding commitment of Battens Solicitors to supporting social impact in the South West. The firm, and its charitable trust, are also celebrating a period of exciting growth and achievement. Battens Solicitors recently expanded its Disputes & Litigation team in Bath, strengthening its ability to support clients across the region. Meanwhile, the Battens Charitable Trust is proudly marking its 40th anniversary. For four decades, the Trust has enabled staff, clients, and the wider community to support a wide range of good causes, and we’re honoured that Julian House is one of them.

“We are proud to celebrate and support the continued success of Battens and the Battens Charitable Trust, and, as we prepare for another fantastic Brain of Bath, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the firm for being champions of positive change, and for making this event possible once again.” Grace Dearson, Philanthropy and Corporate Partnerships lead at Julian House.
