After much deliberation, we have made the difficult decision to close our shop and social enterprise, the Bike Workshop in Bath.
Starting in 2011, our Bike Workshop has repurposed donated bikes to be sold, alongside providing bike repairs to give bikes a new lease of life which raised money in aid of Julian House.
The service also includes the Build-a-Bike workshop, a programme which delivers training for people with a history of homelessness, offending, substance misuse or long-term unemployment.

As public sector budgets are cut and costs continue to rise with the increase in employer National Insurance contributions adding an extra £165,000 to the charity’s costs this year alone, we are having to make tough choices to ensure the future of our charity.
Sadly, the Bike Workshop has become too expensive to run in this economic climate, and we believe we can have greater impact for our clients through other, less costly, activities.
We are very much still here, and still delivering for our clients across the South West.
Our priority will always be to support vulnerable, isolated and at-risk people in Bath and across the South West, and we will direct our funds to the activities that can provide the best outcomes for our clients.

We hope to continue to do so long into the future with support from our generous local community.
We are proud of the impact we have had over the last 14 years: supporting people recovering from trauma to develop their skills, encouraging people to get out on their bikes and being part of the circular economy in Bath.
We would like to thank our committed staff and volunteers who have been the lifeblood of the Bike Workshop, keeping our doors open through the hard times as well as the good.
The Bike Workshop will be open until October so you have the chance to explore our range of affordable bikes with the profits supporting our mission.

I found out about gambit 666 through a forum actually, and ended up playing there out of curiosity. It’s got this gritty aesthetic that isn’t just for show—it’s part of the whole experience. You can find details like bonuses, game types, and terms directly on their homepage, pretty easy to navigate. I liked how clear they were about rules and limits, and the 24/7 chat came in handy when I had a question. It feels secure and fair. Not for casual fun maybe, but definitely intense.
