Julian House launches appeal to secure future of life-saving projects in the face of surging costs

Updated: May 6

Homelessness isn’t just a winter crisis. It’s a reality that thousands of people live with every single day.

This spring, we are launching our appeal to raise awareness of the issues faced by people who are homeless throughout the year, not just during winter when rough sleeping is the most visible and when public sympathy is at its highest.

That’s why your donations are essential.

They help us to keep our doors open, to build on strong foundations and to find new, innovative ways to empower our clients.

We can’t do this without you.

This year, we are expecting costs to rise by around £165,000 because of the increase in employer contributions to National Insurance. This unexpected increase will put a real strain on our ability to deliver high-quality services.

Helen Bedser says, ‘We cannot face this crisis alone. Our job is to balance these different demands on our funding and ensure Julian House can continue its mission to support the most vulnerable and isolated people in our communities all year round.’

By donating to our Spring Appeal you can help our teams provide not just shelter, but a sense of safety and comfort for those who need it most.

Thank you.
