When someone leaves prison, it is a chance to start again, to rebuild their life away from past mistakes.

Instead, many face the threat of homelessness, and the temptation to re-offend to find food, money and shelter.
Right now, government early release policies - introduced to ease overcrowding in prisons, are putting more people at risk. Individuals are being released suddenly, with no time to plan, no home to go to and no tools to rebuild their lives to avoid reoffending.
Pixie and her team works with people both before and after they leave prison, ensuring they have safe and secure housing and offer wraparound support to break the cycle of reoffending before it begins.
Pixie's work is about more than just accommodation; it’s about providing a foundation for people to begin again.

Reintegrating into the community means facing down prejudice, overcoming financial barriers, and accessing critical services—many of which are nearly impossible to navigate without proper support.
"Statistically, the first night that somebody leaves prison, they are more likely to reoffend if they haven’t got stable accommodation to return to," Pixie explains.
Many clients come from deeply challenging backgrounds—negative environments, unstable homes, and even experiences with neurodiversity that went unsupported for years.
