Julian House is expanding its portfolio of charity shops to open two brand-new stores in Bradford-on-Avon and Melksham.
We celebrated the grand opening of our new charity shop on Bank Street, Melksham with a ribbon-cutting ceremony performed by Helen Bedser Chief Exec at Julian House.
The positive impact of local shopping and the circular nature of second hand buying of goods is an ethical and easy alternative to fast fashion and throwaway culture. In the last year, shoppers at Julian House saved 56 tonnes of clothes from landfill with consumers both donating and purchasing products.

‘We will keep trying to raise funds for our amazing charity whilst offering great customer service and a chance to source great quality clothes at a fraction of the high street cost. We are opening two new stores this year so really excited to introduce Julian House to a new audience.’ Gemma Turner, Head of Retail at Julian House.
Services in Wiltshire includes support for people at risk of homelessness; people recovering from substance abuse; adults and children escaping domestic violence and abuse; and members of the Gypsy, Roma, Traveller and Boater communities who are living insecurely.
Donations raised by Wiltshire shoppers will support the services that operate across the county and beyond.
