Safesleep is a winter night shelter for people sleeping rough in Exeter.
The service aims to prevent loss of life, reduce rough sleeping to as near zero as possible and support people back into settled accommodation, preventing a return to the streets.
The service provides a bed in a safe place, where people sleeping rough can access food, clothing, laundry and wash facilities, together with activities, support and practical assistance from on-site staff to prevent a return to the street and achieve long-term positives outcomes.
Safesleep will run continuously from 1st November 2018 to 31st March 2019.

8pm – 11:30pm Monday-Thursday
8pm – midnight Friday
7pm – midnight Saturday
7pm – 11:30pm Sunday
About the Service
The service seeks to secure a rapid, supported reconnection for rough sleepers who are not from the local area and wish to return home.
The service takes a multi-agency and person-centered approach to supporting people using Safesleep to access appropriate services and into more settled accommodation.
The service actively works with and involves the public, local businesses, statutory and voluntary agencies to improve the lives of people using Safesleep, through charitable donations, volunteering and collaborative, joint working.
