Julian House views the Private Rented Sector (PRS) as crucial in enabling move on for our clients who have low or no support needs and who may live on a low wage or who are either partially/fully in receipt of benefits.
Under our PRS scheme, Turnkey Housing Solutions, we are able to offer Assured Shorthold Tenancies to individual clients who wish to live without children or dependants in accommodation that has affordable rent that falls within Local Housing Allowance. An Assured Shorthold Tenancy means that unemployed clients who move in and subsequently gain paid work will not have their tenancy threatened as a result of becoming employed.
Julian House provide housing management for the properties, clients needing anything more should either be referred with a support package in place or will be referred to an appropriate floating support service.

Proud to be a part of the South West Landlord Expo
Earlier this year, Julian House took part in the thirteenth Landlord Expo, supported by the Bristol Association of Letting and Managing Agents (BALMA) and the Association of Residential Letting Agents. (ARLA). With over 700 visitors to the University of the West of England, Julian House showcased the services of Turnkey, our social lettings service. We talked to landlords from all over the South West, attended seminars and raised awareness of the benefits of letting to tenants who are on low income and/or claiming housing benefit.
