People We Help

The people we help

Recovery is a long and complex process and is one of the toughest challenges anyone can face. But, with commitment from the individual and the support of a skilled staff we have helped over 780 people in 14 years recover from their addictions and move on to lead independent lives.

St Vincent’s accepts clients from local or national treatment centres, related agencies, the prison network or self referrals.

Here’s what some of our residents say about us:

A woman smiles“I am 2½ years sober now and genuinely excited about what life has to offer. I believe that without the help and support of St Vincent’s I would not be in the position I am today, and for that I am incredibly grateful.”

“I owe the staff at St Vincent’s a debt of gratitude which I can probably never repay. Now at the age of 32 I feel my life has only just begun”

“People often what to hear about my past but that shouldn’t be their focus. It should be what I’m doing now and what I am capable of achieving in the future. St Vincent’s has been a huge opportunity for me. I’ve been given a chance to start again.”
