Henrietta Street

Julian House works across a broad spectrum of need. We are able to offer 10 beds in a high support housing project in Bath for adults with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders (Autism and Asperger’s). Henrietta Street encourages and enables clients to move towards independent living by improving life skills and working with other agencies such as social services and state specialist services i.e. B&NES & Bristol Autism Advice Service (BASS) to ensure the right package of care and support is in place.

We promote clients’ right to a personal budget and support its use, putting the client at the centre of what we do ensuring that the client has enough information to make an informed choice within a supportive decision making process.

What can you expect when you come to Henrietta Street?

  • A comfortable, supportive environment with staff available 24 hours a day both on and off site.
  • A full needs assessment and support plan looking at current needs and future plans.
  • A programme of activities geared towards independent living such as cooking, meaningful use of time, drama/confidence building and other social activities.

Clients can stay for up to two years and are encouraged to become an integral part of the running of the house, we work with families and carers to ensure everyone who needs to be is included in the client’s care and support.
