Community Events

We have lots of events across the South West organised by amazing volunteers in aid of Julian House. If you are interested in any of these please contact the organisers.

1. Charity Quiz Night & Curry

Get ready for a fun evening of curry & quiz questions, hosted by Rachel Brocklehurst. Rachel will be climbing Kilimanjaro in aid of Julian House in February. Happening on Friday 15th November at 7:30pm, New Oriel Hall in Bath, this will be a really fun evening, filled with friends, fun and laughter plus a delicious homemade two course curry. There will also be a raffle/silent auction with some truly amazing prizes. For more info and to book your tickets click here

2. Fight Night

After two incredibly successful events, Bath University students Bruno and Ed are back with Fight Night III. This white collar boxing match sees trained boxing students go head to head for a fiery night packed with sport, glamour and glory all in aid of Julian House. This event is happening on November 28th at Bath Pavilion from 6:30pm. More info here

3. Orchestra Evening
On Saturday 30th November, Zephyrian Woodwind Orchestra, conducted by Richard Caradon, is hosting a charity concert in aid of  All Saints Renovation, Rock Project & Julian House. Featuring compositions by Mozart, Bach and Brahms and a variety of folk songs. 

Starts: 7.30pm at All Saints Church, Bath.  Free admission with closing collection. Suggested donations over £5. [Car park at rear in Lynfield Park]

4. Xmas Lights 

A local family are inviting people to come and see their Christmas lights and donate to Julian House. The lights (which are all LED) at 8 Newbridge Hill, Bath will be turned on during the first weekend of December.

We have a number of FREE places across brilliant races in Exeter:

Halloween Family Fun Run & Toddle 2019

Join Exeter City Community Trust and Team Julian House for a fun filled spooky afternoon on Thursday 24th October at Cowick Barton playing fields. The terrain is park footpaths and completely flat making it easy to push or even run with a buggy!

Fancy dress is encouraged as you run, jog, walk, skip or ride your broomstick along the 1km or 3km route.

Medals for all finishers,with fun and games available throughout the event.

Zoombie Run 2019

We have joined up with Exeter City Community Trust to host a spooktastic Zoombie 10km Run in the grounds of Powderham Castle.  The date has been set, October 30th 2019 and the rest of the details are still being finalised.

Santa Run

The Santa Run is back on Saturday 7th December 2019! With hundreds of runners, joggers and walkers from across Exeter and the surrounding area to kick off the start of Christmas. With two distances to choose from, the 2.5km Family Fun Run or the 5km race, you can set your own bar, run for fun, run to reach a goal, run competitively, run to be healthy or run to raise awareness. Entry is free to our fundraisers, plus you get a santa suit to run in and keep!
