Join us for a virtual Christmas Wreath making workshop with Lou from Bohemian Blooms. Get creative and have fun for a good cause.
To take part in our workshops, please sign up and donate an amount of your choosing (suggested minimum = £5.) You will be directed to our donation page once you have signed up. By doing so, you’re helping to support our life saving services, so desperately needed by vulnerable men and women without a home this winter.
Lou will demonstrate and guide you through the techniques of creating a beautiful foliage wreath from the comfort of your own home. The scent alone will evoke the memories of Christmas. The workshop will take place on Google Meet, you’ll be sent a link to join the workshop after registering. As this workshop is virtual, you’ll need to source your own materials. However, this is very easy and inexpensive to do and all can be sourced online.
Things you’ll need
- 1 x straw 10-inch wreath ring
- Garden string/twine
- Evergreen foliage such as off cuts from your Christmas tree, ivy, conifer, bay, rosemary – 3 or 4 different varieties will work best.
- Stub wires
Embellishments ie oranges, cinnamon sticks, pine cones, seed heads, dried flowers etc.
This workshop is a great way to have fun in the run up to Christmas with friends and family. So grab a cup of tea and join us. Everything raised will help Julian House continue its life saving work this winter – at a time where the people in its care face the double threat of COVID and plunging winter temperatures.
FAQ – You don’t need a Google Account to participate in Meet video meetings on a laptop or computer. However, you will if you wish to join us using your mobile device.
