We can now announce we have 4 places for our London Marathon 2021 available. Are you interested in taking on the challenge?

The London Marathon is on Sunday 3rd October 2021 starting at 3 different locations around the city, the ‘red start’ in southern Greenwich Park on Charlton Way, the ‘green start’ in St John’s Park, and the ‘blue start’ on Shooter’s Hill Road. The three courses converge after 4.5 km (2.8 miles) in Woolwich, close to the Royal Artillery Barracks. Your start location will be allocated by the Virgin London Marathon team.

Deadline for applications is 31st January 2021. Successful applicatans will be notified on the 8th Febraury.

Places for the Virgin London Marathon are very popular, yet raising £2,000 can seem daunting. As we only have 4 places we will be assessing applications based on your reasons for running and that you can demonstrate how you plan to raise the £2,000.

We encourage you to set up an online fundraising page. We will also provide tips and advice to help you raise your £2000. You should raise £500 before 31st May £1000 before 31st August 2021 and the full £2000 by six weeks after the event as set out in the Event terms and conditions.

Application terms and conditions

Julian House reserve the right to refuse an application at its absolute discretion
If you are accepted you are committing to raise a minimum of £2000 for Julian House
Once your place has been confirmed, we would expect your £50 registration fee within two weeks. If you drop out for any reason, this is non-refundable.
If you are unable to participate in the event for any reason, all donated monies collected in aid of Julian House must be forwarded to us. Any money already received by the charity will not be refunded.
You must contact Julian House immediately if you think you are going to be unable to participate.
You must be over 18 years of age on the day of the race.
You are expected to raise 50% of your fundraising total by the end of August for the 2021 race.

Coronavirus Update

An update from the Virgin London Marathon team, 14/12/2020…

“We are fully planning for the event to go ahead in October next year, with social distancing in mind. As the event is still just over 10 months away this is not something that we can answer at the moment. Of course if anything were to change closer to the event, we will update you then with more information.”
