Halloween Family Fun Run & Toddle 2019
Join Exeter City Community Trust and Team Julian House for a fun filled spooky afternoon on Thursday 24th October at Cowick Barton playing fields. The terrain is park footpaths and completely flat making it easy to push or even run with a buggy!
Fancy dress is encouraged as you run, jog, walk, skip or ride your broomstick along the 1km or 3km route.
Medals for all finishers,with fun and games available throughout the event.

The Santa Run is back on Saturday 7th December 2019! With hundreds of runners, joggers and walkers from across Exeter and the surrounding area to kick off the start of Christmas. With two distances to choose from, the 2.5km Family Fun Run or the 5km race, you can set your own bar, run for fun, run to reach a goal, run competitively, run to be healthy or run to raise awareness. Entry is free to our fundraisers, plus you get a santa suit to run in and keep!

Saturday 8th February and Sunday 9th February
The Exeter Half Marathon is a great,traffic free, flat route run along the footpath and cycle track of the River Exe and Exeter Canal.This event is specifically planned in February to provide you with the best opportunity to see how your Spring Marathon training programme is going or your first step into completing the 13.1 mile distance.
This event is run over two days with the Saturday race aimed at the more competitive athlete, club runner or those with an expected maximum completion time of sub 2hrs. Sundays race may be better suited to first time runners or those looking to complete in an extend time frame with a maximum of 3 hours expected completion time.
The event, which sold out in 2018 & 2019 is sure to be another race favourite for 2020 so be sure to get your entry in quick.
The start and finish will be from Race headquarters at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, EX2 8DP, where there is ample parking nearby, toilet facilities and baggage store.

The Granite Way run takes you along the Granite Way cycle path through Devon with fantastic views of Dartmoor and the surrounding countryside. The route is ideal for runners training for a spring marathon, offering a 10 mile (one lap) and 20 mile (two lap) race option to suit everyone’s individual needs.
Start and finish will be at Race Headquarters: Okehampton Youth Hostel, Klondye Road, Okehampton, EX20 1EW
10 Mile – Start time 09.30 am – Minimum age 17 years
20 Mile – Start time 09.00 am – Minimum age 18 years

The Exeter Live Better Marathon is a perfect opportunity to complete what could be one of the biggest challenges of a lifetime in the most active city in the South West.
Our course is ideal for those competing for the 1st time as well as seasoned runners looking for a fast time thanks to the nature of the course, the majority of which will be along the footpaths and cycle tracks of the River Exe and Ship Canal.
There will be plenty of beautiful locations to admire along the way with viewing points for your supporters and spectators to come along and cheer you on.
Race start time 09:00
Time limit: 5.5 hours
Minimum Age: 18 yrs
