Volunteering has been at the heart of Julian House’s operations since it was founded in 1987.  Although we now have a core of paid staff, the organisation places great emphasis on the role and contribution of volunteers.  Not only do they undertake very worthwhile work, they also help to contain running costs and make existing levels of service possible.  They offer service users valuable opportunities for renewal of social contact and bring a variety of life experiences – new skills which a small charity such as Julian House couldn’t hope to provide, even from its dedicated staff.

We offer a wide range of Volunteering Opportunities from our Charity Shops, Manvers Street Hostel, Bike Workshops and more. Please click here for current volunteering opportunities and details of how you can apply.
