Support for travelling communities

The Travelling Communities Support Service aims to improve the lives of Gypsy, Roma, Boater and Traveller (GRTB) communities across Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES) and Wiltshire.

Without a fixed address, accessing services for health, housing support, education, or social care can be challenging.

The outreach team all have lived experience of life in a travelling community and are committed to identifying inclusive ways of working to reduce inequalities.

We support clients to overcome barriers and live safer, healthier lives wherever they call home.

It seems that prejudice against travelling communities has become the last ‘acceptable’ bastion of discrimination in England. Julian House wants to tackle this head-on.
