It takes an extraordinary team of passionate, committed individuals working together to support each person in reclaiming their life.
For our first day we wanted to say a big thank you to Eddie and his team for offering free haircuts to people accessing our day centre at the Salvation Army.
Eddie is a well-known figure in the area and a long-time friend of Julian House, using his own skills as a hairdresser to support anyone who needs it.
Having Eddie and his team visit our services is a wonderful experience.
Even small gestures, like getting a haircut, can significantly influence peoples mood and self-perception.
A professional haircut can help people to create a positive impression at appointments and job interviews.
Eddie finds that by offering haircuts it can create a safe atmosphere where people can open up about their experiences.
The dedication of Eddie’s Street Cuts team in contributing their time to support and engage with our clients is truly inspiring and makes a huge difference. I want to extend our gratitude to them on behalf of the staff and clients at Julian House.
