Day 21- Rotork's volunteering day
On Wednesday 17 December, the Business Transformation team at Rotrok ran a two‑pronged volunteering effort in support of Julian House . Alongside their consultancy partners from Avanade/Accenture and colleagues from PwC, volunteers packed donated non‑perishable foods and toiletries from into mini toiletry shoeboxes and larger essentials boxes - heading to our donation distribution hub to share some holiday warmth. Thank you to Dentaid for coming to provide free dental care to the families staying at our domestic abuse refuge. Dentaid provides outreach dental services and oral health advice for people experiencing homelessness, harm, poverty and abuse. This summer, Julian House took part in an inspiring art exhibition called ‘This City We Live In’. Presented in a collaborative style, this exhibition is held at CoLab Atrium in Exeter and includes the artwork from people accessing Devon based charities Julian House and CoLab and was funded by the Urban Learning Academy through UK Shared Prosperity Funding.
