Our domestic abuse refuge has been busy lately!

This Christmas, we are celebrating the extraordinary efforts of our supporters, and today we wanted to say thank you to Mark, Laura and Hayley and their dogs Bonnie and Blane.
Mark brought his very specially trained pooches, Bonnie and Blane to teach the clients about their roles and skills with lots of opportunities for cuddles!
Bonnie can track electronic devices effectively. She was able to locate hidden mobile phones, trackers and even a tiny sim card! Bonnie can do multiple searches a day, up to 16 on occasions and does it all for the reward of a ball and a tummy tickle.
Blane is just two years old but already a tenacious character who helps the police with finding vulnerable missing people.
Mark also gave staff lots of great advice on what to do should they encounter anything concerning.
Later in the day Laura and Hayley came in to decorate the communal Christmas Tree with lots of help from the children.
They also brought along chocolate treats for the young residents!
