It was fantastic to see staff and students from Bath College participating in multiple donation drives which will be given out in our community.
We’re always very grateful when people get in touch about donating items as this helps to reduce our costs and meet urgent client needs.
World Kindness Day
In November the students organised a drop of donation point where they collected 122 pairs of warm socks for World Kindness Day.
Of this donation 67 pairs of socks were generously donated by Mabboo, a bamboo shop in Bath.
This donation will be shared amongst Manvers Street Hostel and our local outreach teams to be handed out to anyone who needs this.
16 Days of Action
As part of the Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) 16 Days of Action campaign, the college invited students and staff to support a donation drive with the proceeds being distributed to our Big Ask donation drive.
Students and staff were encouraged to help this festive season by donating toiletries, non-perishable food items, and household essentials at both campuses, in reception, until 12 December.
