Refugee resettlement
Our support for refugees helps them to settle into life in the UK, including help with their finances, and accessing health services, education and employment.
This service gives individuals and families who have been through significant traumatic experiences (including war, violence and bereavement) a constructive and supported start to a new life in the UK.
Many peoples’ lives have been interrupted by circumstances beyond their control and as they arrive in the UK they bring fresh knowledge and experience.
But re-settling is a challenging process, and the scheme ensures that it is as positive an experience as possible.
Client support is designed to reduce as each year on the scheme passes, with families developing their independence and managing their own lives with confidence.
I am constantly humbled by their resilience and strength in circumstances I am not sure I would be able to manage as well or with as much dignity. I have gained and learned so much by working with them.
