The Big Exeter Sleep-Out is back

Julian House’s Big Exeter Sleep-Out 2022 is open for registrations!

The charity is calling the community in Exeter and the local area to join this fantastic event and invites you to sleep-out for one night in the heart of the City at Exeter City Football Club (St James Park Stadium). If sleeping in the Stadium is not for you, please join by sleeping in your garden and still be part of the big event which will take place on Friday 18th March. All the proceeds raised will create vital funds and awareness for people forced to sleep rough in the streets, this event is proudly sponsored by Knight Frank.

Last year, the charity provided life changing support to over 1,800 vulnerable individuals who were suffering from, or at risk of, homelessness across the South West. It’s a grim realisation that without support of charities like Julian House, the life expectancy of a long-term homeless person is just 45 years!

Event organiser, Daffne Zamudio, said: “The fact that the Sleep-Out is a hybrid event this year, provides the opportunity for all the community to join us by being in person at the stadium or being at home, while experiencing for one night the difficulties that men and women have while sleeping on the streets. We thank all the community for supporting Julian House by joining and helping us raising awareness and funds within the area”.

Event Sponsor, Knight Frank Partner, Louise Glanville said: “Knight Frank are proud sponsors of the Julian House sleep out 2022. This is a valuable charity that benefits lots of different causes in the city.”

We would like to thank our partner; the Exeter City Community Trust, the Lord Mayor of Exeter who will be joining us at the opening of the event and the Rapid Relief team for providing the much-appreciated breakfast at the stadium.

Whether you decide to join us in person or virtually, this is your opportunity to help a great cause please find out more about the Big Exeter Sleep-Out and to sign up click here.
