Our domestic abuse supported accommodation in Wiltshire offers support for four single women to recover, whilst in a homely environment. The women living with us may be facing domestic abuse (past or present), are safe enough not to need a secure refuge, might be moving on from refuge or might be in their own accommodation and need some floating support.
This service also supports women who have had a local connection and are needing to reconnect back to Wiltshire if they have had to leave the area for safety reasons, for example.
What can you expect?
- Specialist female, friendly staff who will guide and empower you on your journey, tailored to your personal experience.
- Safe accommodation where you can recover and start to think about the future.
- Staff on site Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with out of hours on-call available for everyone.
The service is low-medium support and there are some house agreements, for example no visitors to the property which allows people the right to privacy and space. Drugs or alcohol are not permitted in the house, although we do not expect you to remain abstinent – support for addiction will be offered.
We know that moving into the house will be a big transition for our residents and we provide emotion and practical support and guidance, every step of the way.
