Making a life changing impact.

Welcome to the Julian House Impact Report for 2022-2023. In a year marked by extraordinary challenges and ever-increasing demand for our services, we are proud to share the remarkable accomplishments and transformative impact made possible through your support.

In this report, each number counts for the inspiring stories of vulnerable individuals who found hope, strength, and a path to a brighter future with Julian House by their side. Together, we have been a beacon of compassion, providing essential support to those facing homelessness, domestic abuse, and other life-altering crises.

As we navigate the ongoing effects of the pandemic, Julian House has remained steadfast in our commitment to delivering vital services. We have adapted, grown, and expanded our reach, ensuring that our clients receive the care they need during these uncertain times. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our exceptional staff and volunteers, as well as the generous support of our wider community.

Within this report, you will encounter the remarkable statistics that demonstrate the tangible impact we have collectively achieved. From providing shelter and accommodation to vulnerable individuals to offering support services that address complex needs, Julian House has been at the forefront of transforming lives, often saving lives.

Through our homeless outreach teams, we connected with and supported 768 individuals living on the streets, helping them secure safe accommodation and find their way back into society. Our domestic abuse refuges provided a sanctuary for 78 adults and children, while our advocacy services empowered 132 children affected by domestic abuse.

We played a pivotal role in the rehabilitation and resettlement of 172 individuals on probation, reducing homelessness and re-offending rates by 86%. Our specialised Autism service offered intensive support to 10 individuals, while our supported housing projects accommodated and assisted 348 individuals on their journey to independence.

The impact extends beyond housing and support. Our bike workshop social enterprises empowered 84 individuals, equipping them with work skills and boosting their confidence on the path to employment. Through our resettlement and integration services, we supported 309 refugees in rebuilding their lives in the UK.

The statistics speak volumes, but they only scratch the surface of the remarkable work undertaken by Julian House. Behind each number lies a life transformed, a family reunited, and a community strengthened.

As you explore this report, we invite you to join us in celebrating the tireless efforts of our staff, volunteers, and supporters. Your generosity and advocacy have enabled us to make an enduring difference in the lives of thousands. Together, we are building a future where homelessness is a solvable problem, where hope is restored, and where everyone has a place to call home.

Thank you for being a vital part of the Julian House journey. With your continued support, we can create a society that uplifts, empowers, and embraces those in need.

Together, we are changing lives and shaping a brighter tomorrow.
